Jaxon calls spoons "bums" for some reason. And like a bad mom, I mimic him when I say it back. Here was our conversation this morning. It wasn't until I had said it all that I realized what I was really saying.
Me: "Jaxon, do you want a bum? No, that bum is too big. Hey- that's MY bum! Your bum is the little one. Mine is the big one. You want my bum? It's too big. I dont think that's going to work.
I would take the little one but I dont think you can make the big one work for you."

CUTE!!! haha. Adam and I are bad parents too b/c we use our kids language instead of teaching them proper English. Adam's worse than I am. He'll say stuff like, "Here's you book."

I have a hard time not mimicking Mike's words too. The way he says the word bink sounds nothing like any real word, but kind of like "sleesh" so that's what we call it sometimes and I really have to catch myself and call it a bink because I don't really want him calling it a sleesh.

I love the things kids say! Addison is starting to be a real chatter box-learning new words- so much fun! :)
So funny. They are absolutely adorable at this age. I have often wished that I had written more of the cute/funny things that my kids have said over the years.
